Luxury Hotel vs Luxury Villa

Earlier in this blog, we have been reading about stays at Luxury Hotels, but let us have look at other options when we decide to take a well-deserved break. We could think about; renting a Luxury Villa! I would like to add that even though there are other options like renting standard vacation homes, apartments and regular villas, in this article I only want to focus on the choice of booking Luxury Hotel against renting a Luxury Villa.
So what determines the choice of accommodation we choose when booking our holidays? Actually you could say that the choice of accommodation can define a vacation. An all-inclusive resort for example is perfect if you want all the facilities and comfort immediately at hand; you want meals catered for and entertainment organized, whereas a functional motel might not just be a matter of budget but also a matter of just needing somewhere convenient to sleep whilst spending the days touring your chosen area.

It appears that opting for a traditional holiday hotel is being passed over by many people in favour of taking a Luxury Villa. However, in my case - although having to think about what to have for dinner every day; finding myself wandering around supermarkets for hours, shopping for food and after an exhausting day of siteseeing, swimming and sunbathing, labouring over a hot stove cooking dinner, does not represent my idea of a pleasant way of spending my holidays - I do enjoy having a beautiful villa entirely at my disposal and love the privacy that this provides me with.

Now what if you could combine the advantages of booking a hotel with the advantages of renting a Luxury Villa? Would this not be a wonderful option? In my blog I would like to introduce you to two villas I have read about where you can do just that! Just before I do this I would like to give you a at least four very good reasons why you may rather want to chose for a villa vacation instead of a hotel vacation, however nice a hotel may be:
Cost: hotels are more expensive than villa rentals and particularly if you are looking for an extended stay.
Space: unless you have the budget to splash out on large hotel suites, a villa rental is more spacious and cost effective if you are taking the family away as you pay for one property rather than a number of rooms.
Exclusivity: a villa is ultimately more private than a hotel room as you have rented it just for those in your vacation party.
Freedom: with a villa you are not tied by restrictive meal times, worries about breaking hotel rules, thinking your kids are too noisy and disturbing the other guests.
